Miriam is a senior associate who advises clients in the commercial, education and government sectors. She has extensive experience in:
- complex employment tribunal litigation (she particularly enjoys claims involving allegations of whistleblowing or disability discrimination)
- tribunal advocacy
- HR/ employment-related advice on issues such as grievances, redundancies and TUPE.
- senior-level exits and settlement negotiations
Miriam qualified as a solicitor in September 2013.

Miriam always takes the time to understand what her clients want to achieve. Some examples of her work include:
- assisting a client in the commercial sector in successfully defending an application for interim relief relating to a complex whistle-blowing claim.
- advising a pharmaceutical company in respect of a large-scale group reorganisation of its workforce in response to budget pressures (including both TUPE and redundancy issues).
- advising a commercial organisation on the departure of a senior executive in difficult circumstances (where the executive’s family member remained with the company).
As a tribunal advocate, Miriam can support a case from start to finish and her experience in the tribunal is invaluable in helping to select the best arguments to run when the case is first prepared.
