What can Tom do for you?
Tom is a lawyer in the employment, immigration and pensions team. He deals with employee disputes and non-contentious advisory work including Employment Tribunal claims such as unfair and constructive dismissal and discrimination claims. Tom advises clients on a range of employment law queries, providing assistance with non-contentious work, drafting contracts of employment, policies, procedures and settlement agreements.
Supporting your ambitions
One of Tom's highlights involved working with the General Dental Council on an employment claim brought by a disgruntled ex-employee. The claim involved a number of senior individuals at the General Dental Council and was particularly sensitive owing to issues of data protection and confidentiality. Tom successfully managed the claim through to the final hearing.
Another highlight is Tom's work with VetPartners, providing employment support for their corporate acquisitions. Tom has helped negotiate and draft a number of service and settlement agreements proposing pragmatic commercial solutions along the way to help the client achieve their objectives.

Tom has recently helped the General Dental Council with a senstive claim brought by a disgruntled ex-employee where upon conclusion of the matter they said "huge thanks to you for all of the work in getting us to where we are now"
What else should you know?
Tom qualified in September 2018 and as part of his undergraduate studies he spent a year at the University of Western Australia studying Australian Law.
He is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the North West Employment Law Group.
