Finding your way around the National Microbiology Framework

The National Microbiology Framework is a new national public health procurement scheme. It will help to ensure laboratories as well as other diagnostic and treatment services have easier and faster access to essential supplies and services with over 170 framework suppliers and their technologies. The framework is open to a wide range of public sector bodies including the NHS, academic and charitable bodies and provides access to approved suppliers of tools for sample analysis, diagnostics and research and development across the infectious disease spectrum.

On 6 July (12:00 - 13:00), Mills and Reeve are teaming up with Public Health England to deliver a webinar overview of the call-off terms and conditions, including the ordering process, under the new National Microbiology Framework.

In this one hour session, Sean Earnshaw and Shailee Howard will cover:

  1. Introduction and overview of the Framework Agreement (including relevant background as to how this was developed and the various lots)
  2. Call-off process - including direct award / mini-competition processes and differentiating between various direct award options
  3. The order form
  4. The call-off terms and conditions - how the various appendices all fit together and the scope for including supplementary terms
  5. Notification of awards
  6. Q&A
