    Precautionary Labelling and Allergens - More Robust System is demanded 

    Clarity on thresholds and use of precautonary labelling would assist food producers and consumers alike.  There should be options for proportionate use of precautionary labelling to ensure safety and consistency. The FSA is due to provide a review of international guidelines for allergen thresholds by the end of 2023, the Grocer publication is informed, after industry writes an open letter to demand a more 'robust' system following the coroner's inquest of Celia Marsh last year.
