Update from the Office of the Public Guardian on urgent adult safeguarding issues

In February 2021, the Office of the Public Guardian published guidance to support NHS and social care staff check if a Covid-19 patient has an attorney or deputy.

Since then, the OPG has updated its procedures again on 30 March and 1 April 2021.

There is a handy [email protected] email which can be used in the context of adult safeguarding.

For further information on recent updates from the OPG you can read our earlier blog published in February 2021 here – and the OPG’s updated March 2021 guidance here.
