What can I do for you?

I am a partner within our real estate law practice with a wide range of experience and a focus on investment work, large scale developments (industrial and retail parks, central London offices and town centres), major lettings for landlords and acting for corporate occupiers on their central London headquarters.

My work also includes advising on a range of “real estate structures” including joint ventures, the creation of property investment vehicles and the acquisition and exit from interests in those vehicles. I also advise on development management agreements, asset management agreements and property management agreements.

Supporting my clients’ objectives

With such a diverse range of clients including fund clients of LaSalle Investment Management, major UK private property and development companies, a FTSE 250 REIT and corporate occupiers, the challenge of supporting the clients’ objectives is itself both diverse and dynamic and therefore professionally satisfying.

My approach to supporting the clients’ objectives is to seek to fully understand their objectives and commercial drivers. We are praised for our pro-active, co-operative and communicative approach as well as our approach of presenting solutions to problems and guiding clients to the best commercial and legal outcome.

What do others say?

A client at a FTSE 250 REIT recently commented: “We are delighted to work with Michael and his team and have done for a number of years. We are offered proactive, professional and practical advice with a can do mentality.”

The managing director of a large leading UK property investment and development company with a worldwide development programme of £9 billion commented: “Michael is very high value and provides advice in a manner that is pragmatic and commercial. He is very knowledgeable, responsive and affords the right degree of support.”
