What can James do for you?

James acts for a wide variety of clients on the complete range of property-related issues, covering both commercial and residential property. James has a particular interest in agricultural tenancies and leasehold enfranchisement and regularly advises on the more technical aspects of property law. He is the editor of the most recent edition of Farm Tenancies (2018).

Supporting your ambitions

James has acted on a number of high-profile cases, including Chetwynd v Tunmore, in which he represented the successful defendants to a nuisance claim involving water rights. He has also recently acted for a Cambridge College defending a town and village green application and a construction company in connection with a major noise nuisance claim.

What do others say?

Legal 500 says that James exhibits "old-school rigour with a modern, commercial approach".
