Rebecca is an employment lawyer with extensive experience working for healthcare and charity clients. She acts for a large number of NHS organisations advising them on health-specific employment and strategic issues. Rebecca also advises charities on the full breadth of employment law matters and frequently represents clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings.

Rebecca has particular expertise in defending large employers against complex discrimination and whistleblowing cases. She recently advised an NHS Trust on its defence of a disability discrimination claim involving over 200 allegations and 15 witnesses. Her knowledge of the healthcare sector meant that in addition to defending the claim, she was well equipped to provide pracitcal advice on issues such as reputational damage and negative publicity. Ultimately, Rebecca negotiated a commercial settlement for the Trust which involved the termination of the employee's employment and represented value for money.
