Alison is a partner in our London commercial team, specialising in IT/BP outsourcing, procurement, digital transformation and renegotiation projects. Alison assists clients in developing their strategies, running complex procurements, and developing contracts that ensure clients achieve their required outcomes to time and on budget. Alison regularly acts for private sector clients across a variety of industries.
Alison is qualified to practise law in England & Wales, Scotland, and Hong Kong SAR.

Alison advises on all aspects of technology and commercial projects, supporting clients with the contracting process from end to end: strategy and procurement stages, drafting documentation, change management, re-negotiations, and ongoing lifetime support. These projects usually involve business critical systems and services where maintenance of performance is a key priority for clients. For large scale transactions, Alison often brings together and leads multi-disciplinary teams with varied skill sets and specialisms, drawing on project management processes to ensure efficient collaboration.
Alison has spent considerable time in-house on secondment, particularly at financial services institutions. She therefore understands her clients’ requirements around external regulation, internal governance, and the need to balance risks against ‘house’ positions and procedures. As a result, clients have appreciated her pragmatic and open approach and her drive to ensure that a project delivers on its strategic objectives.
