Amanda specialises in regulatory and healthcare law. Her practice includes coroner's inquests; defending health and safety prosecutions; managing investigations by the police and regulators (usually after an incident or death); advising on the regulation of primary care professionals such as pharmacists; dentists and doctors (and linked proceedings in the First Tier Tribunal); and assisting healthcare providers with various regulatory issues.
Supporting my clients' ambitions
Amanda's highlights include; defending a Spanish company in two prosecutions for breaches of health and safety law following a fatal accident on its English subsidiary's premises; and supporting an NHS Trust through a significant police investigation into an offence of corporate manslaughter following a "never event" death of a patient.
