What can Amanda do for you?

Amanda specialises in regulatory and healthcare law. Her practice includes coroner's inquests; defending health and safety prosecutions; managing investigations by the police and regulators (usually after an incident or death); advising on the regulation of primary care professionals such as pharmacists; dentists and doctors (and linked proceedings in the First Tier Tribunal); and assisting healthcare providers with various regulatory issues.

Supporting your ambitions

Amanda's highlights include; defending a Spanish company in two prosecutions for breaches of health and safety law following a fatal accident on its English subsidiary's premises; and supporting an NHS Trust through a significant police investigation into an offence of corporate manslaughter following a "never event" death of a patient. 

 Amanda is named a 'Next Generation Lawyer' for health and safety in the region by the Legal 500: "Senior associate Amanda Narkiewicz is a rising star..."

In spring 2018 Amanda took to the water as a novice rower as part of Mills & Reeve's rowing team. The team went on to win blades in the Cambridge Town Bumps.
