What can I do for you

Bharti has specialised in defending negligence claims against lawyers, financial advisers, brokers and construction professionals since qualification in 2001. She has extensive experience of dealing with such claims pre-action, through court proceedings and ADR. She regularly speaks at seminars on professional indemnity claims focusing not only on recent developments in the law, but wider issues affecting those professions.

Supporting your ambitions

When professional clients are faced with a claim, it is a worrying and stressful time for them. Bharti is able to navigate the client through the process providing clear, comprehensive advice about risks, strategy and resolution. Bharti was recently successful in the Court of Appeal, defending a solicitor in a claim about a settlement achieved at the door of the court. The claim was an important decision for the profession distinguishing the very different factors when giving advice in that unique situation. Both the insurer and professional client were very pleased (and relieved) with the outcome.
