What can Ellen do for you?

Ellen is an Associate in our family team. She specialises in financial arrangements following relationship breakdown for married and unmarried couples. She has developed particular expertise in complex private children cases encompassing allegations of physical and emotional abuse, parental alienation and domestic and international relocation applications.

Supporting your ambitions

Ellen is motivated, energetic and highly organised. She is committed to understanding each individual client and works hard to use her knowledge and personality to secure the best possible outcomes for them.

Ellen has significant experience of both litigation and negotiation, including:-

  • acting in a successful change of school application where the child had special educational needs;
  • negotiating a favourable outcome for a client following a challenge to a post-nuptial agreement;
  • advising a father in the High Court in international child relocation proceedings;
  • advising a client with severe health difficulties in financial proceedings involving significant non-disclosure.

What else should you know?

Ellen is committed to supporting her fellow Family Lawyers and lawyers of the future. She sits on the National Committee of YRes (the junior branch of Resolution) and delivers workshops on Family Law to aspiring lawyers of school age. She volunteers with legal charities and pro bono centres.

Ellen is also a keen and accomplished musician and community activist.
