What can Emma do for you?

Emma is a Principal Associate in our Insurance Disputes team. She defends and resolves claims against solicitors, barristers, insurance brokers and construction professionals. She also advises in relation to coverage issues under both professional indemnity and D&O policies.

Supporting your ambitions

Emma has spent 12 months on secondment to one of our insurer clients so she has an in depth understanding of how the insurance industry works, and of the key issues facing adjusters and underwriters - and their insureds. She is able to quickly grasp the key issues in a claim and identify a resolution strategy.

She is also able to adopt her previous experience as a general commercial litigator, and draw on the resources of other teams within the firm, to respond to claims arising from a range of underlying issues including contract disputes, trust/probate issues and employment claims.

What do others say?

Emma’s work has been described as “first class” and she “handles complex work with an amiable and unflappable attitude”.

Clients have commented that they are “particularly impressed with Emma's work on technical issues and policy response”.

She is “able to quickly grasp a situation and assist in its resolution without fear of delivering difficult messages where necessary”.

What else should you know?

Emma is in the process of learning to speak Spanish (beyond "un vino por favor"!), but the majority of her spare time is currently spent chasing her young daughter around parks.
