Joe specialises in professional liability claims involving solicitors, barristers, insolvency practitioners and financial service professionals. He has extensive experience of working with individuals, firms and insurers and dealing with complex and high value litigation. Joe's work includes advising on policy terms and coverage disputes. He represents his clients at mediations and by way of court advocacy and regularly presents seminars to professional clients and the insurance market.
Supporting your ambitions
Joe advised a major law firm in the defence of a multi-million pound claim concerning unsuccessful litigation funding schemes. The claim involved extremely technical regulatory, factual and legal matters. Working together with his clients, Joe was able to distil the issues into astute and clear advice. At the same time, Joe worked with a team of lawyers, in order to present a robust and tactically astute defence to the claim. The outcome was a favourable result for the client and a strong working relationship throughout.
Joe also spent six months seconded to a major insurer, gaining an invaluable insight into the needs of insurer clients.
