Supporting your ambitions
Property transactions can be complex and involved, requiring collaboration across specialisms. With property and construction law expertise, clients rely on Laura to provide commercial solutions to ensure projects are delivered successfully within the required (often tight) timeframes. Recent projects include the development of new research facilities for the University of Cambridge, the management of several university clients' estates through acquisitions, disposals and lettings and the expansion of the investment portfolio of St John's College, Cambridge.
Laura has been commended by university clients for her persistence in pushing complex transactions to completion, as well as the quality of advice she provides.
What do others say?
Having completed a sophisticated and demanding transaction, involving a ground-breaking funding structure, Laura's work negotiating the development documents, co-ordinating a team of colleagues from different sectors as well as four sets of lawyers was complemented by the client, as one of the “leading stars” of the team, noting her level of skill and commitment to the task.
