What can Simon do for you?

Simon is a dispute resolution specialist, dealing with corporate/commercial disputes and contested trusts and estates. He has particular expertise in helping clients resolve issues in the private wealth, charitable and sport sectors. He is in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame for both commercial litigation and contentious probate in the North West.

Supporting your ambitions

One of Simon's recent successes involved assisting a marina developer in lengthy and hard-fought litigation against the landowner, forcing the opponent to grant a lease and then achieving substantial damages, which had to be enforced by taking possession of and then selling the landowner's farm and cattle. The client had invested huge amounts of personal time and money into the dispute, and failure to achieve a recovery would have been financially devastating. Fortunately, we recovered our substantial judgment in full, and the matter reached a pleasing outcome when Simon was recently invited to the marina opening!

What do others say?

Simon is a leader in his field in Chambers and Legal 500, and is in the latter's hall of fame (one of very few Manchester litigators so noted). They say he is "easy to talk to and a pleasure to deal with", "an excellent technical lawyer with a nice manner" and "an outstanding communicator".

What else should you know?

Simon is a six-times national championship winning barbershop singer, competing with Bolton's Cottontown Chorus.
