Going for growth in Oxford

We're seeing significant growth in our Oxford office, expanding our presence and enhancing our services in the region. 

Over the past year, the Oxford office has seen a remarkable 69% growth in fees, with the corporate and commercial team boasting a huge 113% fee growth.

To reflect this growth, we've announced our recent addition, Edmund Goodin, whose arrival marks an important and exciting boost to the firm’s corporate team. Joining as a principal associate, he brings with him a decade of experience in the City, where he provided corporate law advice to a range of national and international clients.

Edmund’s expertise in M&A, private investments, and joint ventures will be instrumental as the team serves the local market securing the many promising opportunities for investment in Oxford and the surrounding area. He also brings a deep understanding of closely-held private companies and their owners, including families, family offices, investors, and entrepreneurs, both in the UK and overseas. His knowledge spans governance, dealings with underlying investments and land, corporate disputes, and succession planning, broadening the team’s offering to the region’s businesses and entrepreneurs.

We're also pleased to welcome Anna Fisken, who has joined as a senior associate in the employment, pensions & immigration team, with particular experience in the health and education sectors. Anna is a  “returner” having trained in the Cambridge office from 2017-2019. She will assist with a range of employment law matters, from providing advice on day-to-day queries to managing complex claims in the employment and employment appeal tribunals.
