Caroline is a partner in the real estate team in Manchester. She specialises in development work (including options, conditional contracts, promotion agreements and joint ventures), with a particular expertise in hotels and residential development.  

Caroline sees her role as part of the project team as well as the lawyer and gets great satisfaction from completing a complex project.

Supporting your ambitions

One of Caroline's most challenging projects to date was a £32 million hotel development project in London's Royal Docks. She led the Mills and Reeve team that dealt with setting up the joint venture, site acquisition involving a conditional agreement for lease, funding documents, complex procurement arrangements for the construction of the common parts and forward sale. Due a number of complications, the deal ended up involving more than 20 firms of lawyers which took a lot of project management.
