Clemmie specialises in planning law and advises clients in connection with a range of planning and highways matters. Her experience includes the promotion and implementation of compulsory purchase orders, as well as the promotion of and objections to nationally significant infrastructure projects promoted by means of development consent orders. Clemmie also works on planning appeals, statutory challenges and judicial review claims.

Clemmie is experienced in drafting and negotiating a variety of planning and highways agreements required to secure the grant of planning permission for various types of development. Clemmie also advises on planning strategy and risk.
