What can I do for you

Emily is a senior associate in the corporate team, with over 10 years’ experience advising a broad range of clients across multiple sectors. Emily specialises in both investment funds and corporate education work.

As part of the funds team, Emily works closely with new and experienced fund managers on establishing and managing investment funds – including EIS funds, LP/GP funds, and wider bespoke arrangements.

In the education sector, Emily advises higher education clients on a range of issues, from day-to-day governance to mergers and collaborations with other institutions. Emily also advises academy trusts on conversions and rebrokerages

Supporting your ambitions

In the education sector, a recent highlight for Emily has been her involvement in three landmark higher education mergers - being Anglia Ruskin University’s merger with Writtle College, St George’s, University of London’s merger with City, University of London, and University of Kent's upcoming merger with University of Greenwich.

On investment funds, Emily particularly enjoys working on bespoke and innovative arrangements, helping clients to achieve their aims within the complex legal and regulatory framework.
