What can I do for you

Fintan is an associate in the Regulatory, Public and Commercial Disputes ("RPCD") team, based in Mills & Reeve’s Birmingham office. He advises clients on a wide range of matters, including commercial litigation and regulatory disputes.

Throughout his training contract, Fintan completed seats in Mills & Reeve’s Real Estate Disputes, Employment, Insurance Disputes, RPCD and Commercial teams. Fintan has developed a broad range of contentious and non-contentious skills that he uses to adopt a pragmatic and commercial approach to resolving disputes.

Supporting your ambitions

Fintan works on a range of commercial disputes and regulatory matters, including breach of contract claims, contentious data protection matters, shareholder disputes and sports-related regulatory matters and disputes. Fintan supports both private and public sector clients at every stage of a dispute, from managing risks early to avoid potential disputes, to handling formal proceedings if needed.

Fintan regularly supports clients in the education, food and agribusiness, government, health and care, sport, entertainment and media, and technology sectors.

Fintan’s contentious data protection experience ranges from assisting clients with responding to data subject access requests, to handling Freedom of Information Act disputes in the First Tier Tribunal.

What else should you know

Fintan spends his spare time watching Coventry City FC and has been a season ticket holder from a young age. He is also an avid runner at half marathon, and sometimes marathon, distance.
