We advise at the outset in land acquisition and assembly, planning and funding; and then throughout the development process. On many sites, there are a series of inter-related land sales for housing and related development and we prepare, negotiate and advise on implementation of the terms of those transactions.
Like our clients, we are also “in it for the long-haul”, with many such development projects spanning decades. We're working on a number of different models to secure stewardship in place-keeping, following completion of development. We recognise that the long-term management and maintenance arrangements must be bespoke to a project, meeting the requirements of the planning obligations and matched to the needs of the community.
