Our lawyers

Our lawyers deliver the technical experience that our clients demand. They appreciate the commercial issues that arise in long-running projects, use experience to anticipate problems, and strive to provide innovative solutions where needed.

Our experience

Our deep sector knowledge in strategic land, residential-led and mixed use developments, on greenfield and brownfield sites complements that of our clients. We're working on a range of projects where stewardship of the development programme is an essential element of success.

We advise at the outset in land acquisition and assembly, planning and funding; and then throughout the development process. On many sites, there are a series of inter-related land sales for housing and related development and we prepare, negotiate and advise on implementation of the terms of those transactions.

Like our clients, we are also “in it for the long-haul”, with many such development projects spanning decades. Our continuity of personnel complements the patient, long-term nature of our clients’ commitment to their projects, creating a strong ongoing relationship that ensures consistency throughout.

We're working on a number of different models to secure stewardship in place-keeping, following completion of development. We recognise that the long-term management and maintenance arrangements must be bespoke to a project, meeting the requirements of the planning obligations and matched to the needs of the community. Our clients look to us to guide them in their strategic thinking and create structures that will deliver their objectives.
