Neil is a specialist insurance and disputes lawyer.  He has extensive experience in advising on disputes involving construction projects and consultants (including architects, engineers, surveyors), financial professionals (including IFAs, pension administrators, accountants) lawyers and brokers. He also advises on insurance coverage.  Known for his astute tactical judgement and clear advice, Neil leads the insurance practice in the east of England.

Supporting your ambitions

Neil acted for an IFA network defending multiple claims for miss-selling interest-only mortgages and investment products. He provided wider assistance on the resulting FCA investigation, improving risk management and complaint handling.

He advised a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy defending a multi-million pound claim regarding the design of a flagship school. The claim involved complex issues regarding design responsibility, causation and quantum.

Neil's currently advising on a multi-million pound claim brought against pension administrators by numerous claimants proceeding under a GLO. The claim involves transfers from defined benefit pension schemes, potential new law, and is of general importance to the pensions market.

Neil is an avid rugby fan, and he coaches local youth rugby (the side he coaches are county champions). Neil also plays touch rugby at international level - which is about as much as his body will stand at his age.
