What can I do for you

Nick is a senior associate solicitor specialising in employment law. He works with employers of all shapes and sizes - from start-ups and owner-managed businesses to national organisations - helping them successfully navigate the full spectrum of HR and people challenges.

Nick provides clear and commercially-sensible advice in a responsive manner, helping to resolve issues quickly and minimise risk. He enjoys building long-standing relationships with the organisations he supports.

Nick advises on all areas of employment law, including:

  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and staff handbooks
  • Managing disciplinary and grievances processes
  • Performance management and handling absence issues
  • Defending Employment Tribunal claims
  • Termination of employment, including settlement agreements and complex dismissals

Supporting your ambitions

Nick recently assisted a client with a performance management process for one of its senior members of staff which ultimately led to the termination of the individual's employment. The process involved a number of complex practical issues which Nick was able to help the client to navigate safely and successfully.

Recently, Nick has had a number of favourable outcomes in the Employment Tribunal, including a successful defence of a claim for unfair dismissal made against a University.

Additional Information

Outside of the office, Nick continues to support his favourite football team, Tottenham Hotspur (even though he sometimes regrets his choice of team!).
