We want people who are ready for early responsibility because that is what we will give you. You will be driven, have a positive attitude and an agile approach. You will enjoy untangling complicated issues and thrive on building relationships with clients and colleagues.
We look for candidates to have achieved (or are on course to achieve) a 2.1 in their degree and 120 UCAS points (or 300 UCAS points if pre-2017) from their best three A-levels or equivalent (excluding General Studies). We do not automatically filter out applications which do not reach this academic criteria. We take into account mitigating circumstances and there is space to include these on our application form. You should be aware though that competition is extremely high and we do receive large numbers of applications from candidates who have reached the academic criteria.
We are recruiting the following positions from our 2023 summer vacation scheme:
Training contracts to start in 2024 - 2 positions in London
Due to firm growth, we are looking to recruit our inaugural cohort of trainees in London, to start in September 2024. As this is an earlier start, we will be looking to take forward applications from candidates who are final year law students, law graduates or non-law graduates with the GDL. We will sponsor the relevant course and will discuss with the successful candidates both the LPC and SQE routes to qualification.
Training contracts to start in 2025 - c.25 positions across Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, London, Manchester and Norwich.
For 2025, we will sponsor candidates to qualify via the SQE route and we will welcome applications from penultimate-year/final-year law students, final-year non-law students and graduates (any discipline). We will sponsor non-law candidates to undertake the PGDL before the SQE prep course.
