What can Philip do for you?
Philip works with clients to find solutions to the difficulties that they face on the breakdown of a relationship. Philip has over twenty five years of experience of working with divorcing couples. He has supported many clients through the collaborative family law process but also represents clients at court with energy where necessary.
Supporting my clients' ambitions
Philip is widely regarded as listening with great care to his clients and providing them with insightful advice which they trust.
Philip frequently cuts through the legal complexity of a situation. His clients value the practical, problem solving advice that he delivers. Philip generally achieves rapid settlements for clients without the need to go to court. Equally, Philip's expertise means that he has been able to secure decisions from the courts with which clients have been very pleased. Recently, he obtained a settlement of more than £10m for a client whom other solicitors had advised would receive nothing.
What do others say?

"You couldn't be in a safer pair of hands" (Chambers & Partners 2024)
"A superb lawyer, and an extremely kind man – a very important quality in a matrimonial solicitor" (Legal 500 2024)
What else should you know?
Philip's calm personality should not be confused with a lack of Yorkshire grit. He is very proud to have been part of a team of fourteen from the Leeds office of Mills & Reeve to have completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge raising money for three local charities. A first for Philip at the age of 51!
Philip Way is also a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers.
