What can Tori do for you?
Tori Spratt is a professional support lawyer in the charities and social enterprise sector. Her job is to make sure that her many colleagues who work with charities and social enterprises are kept updated on changes in the law, and sector developments generally, so they are best placed to provide outstanding advice to their clients.
Supporting your ambitions
Being a highly collaborative firm, Mills & Reeve aims to share its knowledge with it clients. So, a significant part of Tori's role is to maintain the Charity Legal Update blog with comment on the latest legal and sector developments.
In addition, she produces a bimonthly sector e-newsletter for charity trustees and other professionals working in the sector (sent to over 600 people), making it easier for them to keep themselves up-to-date with the latest legal developments that might affect their organisations. Every other month, Tori also prepares a specialised and in-depth briefing for in-house charity lawyers.
What else should you know?
Tori is always keen to learn more about charities and social enterprises doing interesting things - most recently she was delighted to source some very good chocolate from a local social enterprise, and to use a national social enterprise to dispose of an old car and make a donation to a charity in the process.
