What can James do for you?

James is a solicitor in our Estate, trust and will disputes team, meaning he specialises solely in these kinds of cases. James advises clients on a range of issues, including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, Testamentary Capacity, Undue Influence, claims in Proprietary Estoppel, and Breach of Trust actions.


Supporting your ambitions

Some of James’ recent highlights include:

  • Obtaining Counsel’s advice for clients in relation to their father’s large estate and trusts administered by unfriendly relatives.  
  • Advising a client on a proprietary estoppel claim that also involved a question of control of the family business and property.
  • Assisting a farming client in a dispute in relation to their father’s will where there was a question of testamentary capacity.
