Patrick specialises in dispute resolution in the construction, engineering and energy sectors - advising clients ranging from private individuals to multinational companies in the resolution of disputes in adjudication, High Court litigation and arbitration .
His recent focus has been on high value, litigious energy disputes relating to both the operation and the administration of offshore oil and gas projects and infrastructure.
Supporting your ambitions
A recent highlight for Patrick was a High Court and Court of Appeal dispute concerning a joint venture involving a number of offshore oil and gas fields. Patrick identified and secured for the clients cost savings of millions of pounds and repayment of historic overpayments of over half a million pounds.
Patrick has also recently advised in respect of a referral to a regulator in the energy sector relating to offshore infrastructure and obtained a positive result for the client.

What else should you know?
Patrick received a degree in Physical Anthropology and Classical Archaeology at the University of Alberta, Canada before moving to the UK to study law. During his first degree he volunteered in central Greece for a summer working on an archaeological excavation of a second century BCE house.
