What can I do for you

Alison is an experienced construction and engineering lawyer who has worked in the sector for over 25 years specialising in the field of construction and engineering disputes within the UK.

Alison has in-depth knowledge of many construction standard form contracts including JCT, NEC and MF/1.

Alison has considerable experience of building safety. She frequently contributes to our Building Safety Conversations podcast. 

She regularly blogs and gives webinars  on construction topics.

Supporting your ambitions

Alison has acted on a number of successful adjudications as well as court and arbitration proceedings.

She acted for the successful claimant in the reported case of RG Carter Building Ltd v Kier Business Services Ltd, in relation to issue of the expiry of the limitation period in proceedings brought under the Civil Liability (Contribution) Act 1978.

Alison is a member of the Society of Construction Law and for many years was one of the regional co-ordinator for the East Anglia.
