The Mills & Reeve Balance Network invites you to a lively and frank discussion as we host four leading Northern women to celebrate IWD 2025. 

The theme of IWD this year is ‘Accelerate Action’ calling for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face both in personal and professional spheres.  The Balance Network has brought together four inspirational female leaders from the arts, health, sport and charitable sectors who are forging change every day, and we are excited to hear from them about how we can all take action to forge equality for women.  

Our panel will be chaired by Claudia Gilham who is co-chair of our Balance Network which is dedicated to focusing on gender related issues. The panel includes: 

• Elaine Mills - Equalities and Inclusion Involvement Lead - NHS Greater Manchester

• Sonia Watson-Fowler - Equity & Representation Manager - Factory International

• Sharon Amesu - SA Consulting, drawing on 16 years as a criminal barrister and extensive work in leadership development, Sharon inspires, challenges, and equips audiences to think and lead differently.

• Stacey Copeland – ex-England boxer and founder of Pave The Way
