Birmingham Employment Rights Act roadshow

You're invited to join us for our Employment Rights Act (ERA) roadshow, an interactive morning event hosted by Mills & Reeve.

Key discussion areas will include:

- A focused legal update from the Mills & Reeve team
- Facilitated round table discussions
- A keynote from Patrick Milnes, Head of Policy – People & Work at the British Chambers of Commerce 
- Local client perspectives, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A

This event will provide a concise overview of the changes being introduced by the ERA, alongside practical discussion on the implications for employers. There will be opportunities to share views and experiences with peers.

In his keynote, Patrick will cover a practical overview of forthcoming employment rights changes, including implications for workforce policies, sickness management and fair work, and how employers can prepare proactively. It will also cover BCC’s approach to engagement and lobbying with government and how businesses can feed into ongoing discussions around the practicalities of the Employment Rights Act. 

This in-person session is designed to be practical, collaborative and discussion-led, with time for informal networking throughout the morning.
