Are charities prepared for the changes to employment law on 6 April 2020?

A number of changes are coming in on 6 April 2020, which have been in the pipeline for some time, including changes to:

  • Implement parts of the Government’s Good Work Plan of 2018, which came out of the Taylor Review.
  • Employment tribunal limits
  • Tax treatment of termination payments
  • The NMW rules
  • IR 35 (the off-payroll working rules) and
  • Parental bereavement leave and pay.

Amy O’ Brien has summarised these key changes of which charities with employees need to be aware, so for more head over to our sister blog hr law live.
