MF/1 – some of the Purchaser’s obligations

The Purchaser's general obligations are set out at clause 11 of MF/1.

These include:

  • Giving access to site. This is not exclusive access.
  • Providing the buildings and structures as well as any materials and equipment both a) in the time specified; and b) in the quality specified and in a condition suitable for the works.
  • Operating any suitable lifting equipment which is on site that the Purchaser owns.
  • Obtaining all import permits or licences.
  • Making available electricity, water, gas, air and other services.

One thing that is not mentioned and the parties may want to discuss and agree on in advance, is responsibility for proper fencing and other security measures.
