Exciting Disruptors: The 4th Industrial Revolution event - a question of design

In our new Exciting Disruptors blog, we look ahead to next week's education sector conference which this year will explore the theme of the 4th industrial revolution. The event will cover: What will this data revolution mean for learning, research, the design of campuses and the world of work? What is the significance of the UK industrial strategy in this area?

We are delighted to be hosting our conference at the Institution of Engineering and Technology in London. Our session on building technology into campus design includes an update from Professor Nick Petford, Vice Chancellor and CEO of the University of Northampton, who will talk about their £330 million, state-of-the-art town centre campus development. Professor Nick Petford will be joined by Rebecca Wade, Senior Bid Manager from Kier Construction, who led and project managed the preconstruction delivery of the Waterside student residences scheme with the University of Northampton and our construction partner, Stuart Thompson, who helped deliver the project.
