Mills & Reeve advise Eckoh on multi-million pound deal to acquire Klick2Contact

We have advised AIM quoted Eckoh plc on their acquisition of customer engagement specialists Klick2Contact.

Klick2Contact specialises in live web help and omni-channel customer engagement services and since being founded in 2011 has built up a client base across 15 countries, with customers that include BMW, Topshop, Next, Volkswagen and UKMail. Chief executive, Graham Pollard, will remain with the business.

The £8 million acquisition is the second in the last eight months for Eckoh, with Mills & Reeve providing advice for both, and forms part of their strategy to become a top provider of secure product payments and customer contact solutions through acquisitions, partnerships and organic growth.

The Mills & Reeve team was headed by corporate partner Stephen Hamilton and senior associate Sofie de Pfeiffer with support from partners Kevin Lowe and Christopher Townsend, principal associate Richard Plaistowe and Anna Youngs, associate Sofie Richardson and trainee solicitor Charlie Adams.

Stephen said: “We were pleased to again advise Eckoh on this transaction as they look to expand their business throughout the UK and further afield.”
