Mills & Reeve salutes the Reserve Forces

Mills & Reeve is also signed up to the Armed Forces covenant, which formally recognises the value service personnel, including regulars, reservists, veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country. 

The covenant, which we signed up to in February, ensures that no member of the Armed Forces faces disadvantage or discrimination when gaining access to public and commercial services, as well as actively promoting the firm as an armed-forces friendly organisation. 

Sandy Boyle, Director of Human Resources, said: “We are extremely proud to be able to support our reserve forces, not only on this day but throughout the year. Their dedication to protecting us, our families, friends and country, is inspiring and should rightly be recognised. 

As an employer, we understand the difficulties forces personnel and their families can face when trying to enter the workforce and we are committed to making sure that we are an armed-forces friendly organisation to make that transition easier. We salute all those who make the sacrifices necessary to protect our way of life and thank them all for their hard work and dedication.” 

Activities will be taking place on Wednesday 21 June, with a number of ways to get involved, including taking part in the #SaluteOurForces campaign, with organisations posting photos of their teams saluting our Armed Forces and posting the pictures on social media.
