We are proud to be supporting the Armed Forces today as they celebrate Reserves Day, the annual national campaign that gives everyone the opportunity to show their support for the men and women of the Armed Forces past and present, including currently serving troops, Service families, Reservists, veterans and cadets.

Mills & Reeve is also signed up to the Armed Forces covenant, which formally recognises the value service personnel, including regulars, reservists, veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.

The covenant, which we signed up to in 2017, ensures that no member of the Armed Forces faces disadvantage or discrimination when gaining access to public and commercial services, as well as actively promoting the firm as an armed-forces friendly organisation.

Sandy Boyle, Director of Human Resources, said: “We are extremely proud to be able to support our reserve forces again this year. Their dedication to protecting us, our families, friends and country, is inspiring and should rightly be recognised.

As an employer, we understand the difficulties forces personnel and their families can face when trying to enter the workforce and we are committed to making sure that we are an armed-forces friendly organisation to make that transition easier. We salute all those who make the sacrifices necessary to protect our way of life and thank them all for their hard work and dedication.”
