Following a fantastic start to the year for awards, after being named law firm of the year by RollOnFriday and Managing Partner Claire Clarke featuring in the The Lawyer Hot 100, Mills & Reeve have been named in The Sunday Times’ Best 100 Companies to Work For – for the 17th year running.

Mills & Reeve scored consistently well across key areas such as leadership, management, wellbeing and personal growth. 81% of staff agreed that the experience they gain from their job is valuable to their future and 89% agreed that the organisation is run on strong values and principles.

We were also scored regionally and achieved impressive rankings in the North West (22nd), the Midlands  (32nd) and East Anglia (59th).

Jonathan Austin, CEO of Best Companies said: “I would like to congratulate Mills & Reeve on achieving a Two Star Accreditation and being named as one of the UK’s Best Companies to Work for. Best Companies has been acknowledging excellence in the workplace since 2006 when we launched our Michelin style accreditation standard. We are proud to work with organisations like this firm who focus on their people and as such have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that they’re a best company to work for.”

Claire Clarke, managing partner, said: “Being featured on this prestigious list for the 17th year is quite the achievement; in fact, we are the only law firm to have ever achieved this. We work hard to create an environment where our people can develop, contribute and make a difference.  We set ourselves a goal of being not just a good employer but an exemplar one, and being featured in the list 17 times is a good indicator that we are achieving this.”

Justin Ripman, senior partner said: “Being part of a culture where people feel proud to work for the firm and have confidence in the leadership is very important and it’s great that has been recognised again.”
