Good (OJEU) Housekeeping

In this article we discuss “housekeeping” items; the new OJEU thresholds and new OJEU forms.

A reminder to readers that new OJEU thresholds apply from 1 January 2016 – these have been revised downwards very slightly in the sterling equivalent of the Euro thresholds (due to the exchange rate).

Click here for details of the new thresholds. Note that, notwithstanding the fact that the Public Contracts Regulations (Scotland) 2015 and the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 do not come into force until 18 April 2016, these new thresholds will nonetheless apply to procurements commenced under the current regulations (in Scotland and by Utilities) between 1 January 2016 and 17 April 2016.

Note too that new OJEU forms have been published, which are now aligned with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, meaning, for example, that there is now an OJEU form specifically tailored for use in a Light Touch Regime procurement.

Click here to read more and access the new forms. Note, too, that these forms will also need to be used for procurements regulated by the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 and the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016, once those two sets of regulations come into force from 18 April 2016.
