Ana Lelliott

Principal Associate

What can I do for you

Ana is a Principal Associate in the Dispute Resolution team, specialising in contentious procurement and public law litigation. She advises contracting authorities and suppliers on complex, high-value procurement disputes, covering all stages of procurement challenges under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Concession Contracts Regulations 2016, the Procurement Act 2023 and the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, from early risk advice through to High Court proceedings.

Supporting your ambitions

Ana helps clients manage procurement risk and deliver robust, defensible outcomes across complex and high value procurements. Her experience spans central government, NHS bodies, Integrated Care Boards and local authorities, as well as suppliers operating in competitive and litigious markets across Defence, Education, Technology, and Health and Care.

Ana supports contracting authorities to run fair, transparent and challenge resilient processes, advising on evaluation, moderation, conflicts of interest and continuity risks. For suppliers, she provides strategic advice on challenging decisions, including managing standstill, automatic suspension and judicial review proceedings. More recently, she has advised clients on exclusion and debarment risks, public inquiry-related issues and strategic re-procurements, helping both public authorities and suppliers navigate sensitive and high stakes situations with confidence.

Ana has a particular interest in the use of artificial intelligence in public procurement which presents both an opportunity and a risk and regularly advises client on how they can ensure that their processes remain compliant, transparent and defensible.

What else should you know

Outside work, Ana is involved in her local community. When her children were younger she set up a mums and baby coffee morning in a local care home and now that they are bit older she supports local fundraising initiatives, including an annual wreath-making evening at the local primary school.
