What can I do for you

Freddie works primarily with clients in our fast growing technology, life sciences, and energy sectors. His practice focuses on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for clients, including strategic collaboration agreements and licensing, as well as advising on intellectual property rights and data protection law. Freddie's clients range from emerging businesses through to established multinational companies.

Supporting your ambitions

Freddie's highlights include working on an international blockchain project whilst on secondment to a multinational pharmaceutical company, for which he won an award, advising a government department on a major IT contract, and supporting a university on a significant off-taking contract for a new heat network.

He represents clients on a range of complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and fundraisings of various stages.

Freddie also draws on experience from living and studying in China. He holds an LLM in Law and Chinese (Mandarin) and is an active member of the Mills & Reeve China team.

What else should you know

Freddie is a keen mountaineer and took time out from the office in 2023 to go adventuring in the Himalayas. Closer to home, he brings his love of sports to work, having established and captained the Mills & Reeve five-a-side football team.
