Pardeep works in the health care team and is experienced in representing Trusts and Integrated Care Boards (ICB's) in Court of Protection matters. Pardeep has regularly provided advice and assistance to Integrated Care Boards in relation to NHS Continuing Healthcare disputes, Judicial Review matters, commissioning disputes and issues related to section 117 aftercare. Pardeep has regularly represented Trusts and ICB's in High Court matters relating to serious medical treatment inclusive of obstetric cases, and inherent jurisdiction matters relating to the welfare, treatment and placement of children. Pardeep has a wealth of experience in advising clients on deprivation of liberty and consent matters relating to children and young people. Pardeep also has an abundance of experience in advising Trusts on the Mental Health Act, an area of law which is of a particular interest to her. Pardeep has provided training to various organisations from Trusts to private healthcare providers on various aspects of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended).

Pardeep previously worked as a Mental Health Tribunal Panel Member representing both forensic and non-forensic patients detained under the Mental Health Act, and as a Deputy for Property and Affairs.
