Valentine is an associate in the firm's surety team. She advises clients across the UK, Europe and the US on a wide range of surety matters. She works with sureties, banks, insurers and other corporate clients on bonds and guarantees, the establishment and amendment of indemnity arrangements, and transaction security packages.
In addition, Valentine supports the firm's wider banking team on general corporate lending and trade finance matters. She also works with the restructuring and insolvency team, advising on insolvency-related issues and assisting clients with creditor claims and the management of insolvency processes.

Valentine enjoys working on the diverse and often complex transactions involving surety instruments. She has experience in multi-jurisdictional matters, coordinating with clients, counterparties and overseas counsel to navigate differing legal and regulatory requirements, and ensure the timely delivery of certificates, approvals and documentation to help transactions progress smoothly.

Fluent in Vietnamese, French, and English, Valentine is an avid reader in all these languages. Outside of work, Valentine is also often found on the ski slopes: what she may still lack in ability, she enthusiastically makes up for in determination.
