We promote environmental sustainability in all aspects of our operations and recognise our responsibility for guardianship of the environment.
We're making the following commitments to achieve ambitious emissions reduction targets to restrict warming to less than 1.5°C. We've committed to reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2050.
As of April 2025, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved our near-term and long-term emissions reduction targets
Near-term targets:
- Reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 Emissions 55% by 2033 from a 2023 base year
- Reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 33% within the same timeframe
- Reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions beyond the minimum boundary from business travel and employee commuting 33% within the same timeframe
Long-term targets:
- Reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 Emissions 90% by 2050 from a 2023 base year
- Reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 90% within the same timeframe
- Reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions beyond the minimum boundary from business travel and employee commuting 90% within the same timeframe
Our baseline emissions are based on calculations produced and validated by Ecologi, which covers the period of our financial year June - May.
Emissions referred to cover scopes 1, 2 and 3 for both this baseline year and current reporting year are calculated following a market-based methodology.
