Conflict, climate and coverage - Key developments for insurers

Join our property and specialty insurance experts at a seminar exploring some of the most significant developments shaping the insurance landscape and what they mean for insurers in 2026. The event will feature three focused sessions, each including time for questions.

War in the Middle East: the insurance implications - Andrew Tobin will examine current issues arising from the conflict in the Middle East and what they mean for political violence, political risk, trade credit and wider specialty markets.

Conditions precedents to consequences: a review of recent case law - Kelly Westgarth and Shy Islam will review some of the most influential recent rulings impacting policy coverage, with practical points for insurers on fair presentation obligations, pre contractual warranties and their enforcement.

Green insurance: navigating resilience and risk - Alice Wilson will consider the increasing influence of sustainability, environmental exposures and resilience planning on property insurance, together with what this means for underwriting, claims and policy construction.

After the seminar we'd love you to join us for networking and drinks until 6.00pm.

If you have any dietary or accessibility needs please let us know using our accessibility requirements form.
