EU AI Act

On 13 March 2024, after lengthy discussions, the European Parliament adopted the AI Act, the EU law on artificial intelligence.  The AI Act has been in force since 2 August 2024 and the first obligations in connection with the use of AI have been in effect since 2 February 2025. The law is already having a major impact on the use of AI applications and will have an even greater impact in the future.

In the next of our In House in Focus webinar series, Sven-Erik Holm (GvW Graf von Westphalen) will present the basic regulatory content of the AI Act and discuss with Peter Wainman (Mills & Reeve), the specific implications for companies inside and outside the EU.
