London HE discussion forum

Please join us for our in-person London HE roundtable discussion focusing on the critical aspects of new OfS Condition E6 and its student and staff–related implications.

Our education sector specialists will facilitate discussion of the Condition’s key requirements and expectations - and the challenges it may raise for providers - in both the student and staff arenas.  Discussion at the in-person event will be on a Chatham House basis and provide colleagues with an opportunity to share concerns and examples of best practice.

Key topics to be covered:

  • Overview of the key requirements of Condition E6 and its implications for Registry and HR and for teams more widely across the institution

  • What “steps to make a significant and credible difference in protecting students” from harassment and sexual misconduct might look like in practice

  • What “capacity and resources” are needed

  • Policies on intimate personal staff-student relationships

  • Arrangements for reporting and for data sharing

  • Fair, competent and effective investigations and decision-making

  • Provision of effective and targeted support for students and staff

We hope you can join us for the discussion, and stay for a drink afterwards. You can register for a place using the 'Book now' button.

If you have dietary and/or accessibility needs, let us know using our requirements form.
