Private Affairs in Practice - May 2026

You're invited to our upcoming Private Affairs in Practice breakfast seminar, hosted by our private wealth team in Cambridge.

Back by popular demand, these in-person seminars are designed to give you practical support, tips and guidance to help you talk to your clients about their personal affairs. Breakfast sandwiches and pastries will be provided.

The main provisions of the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 come into force on 1 May 2026 and they will have wide-reaching implications for stakeholders in the residential private rented sector. This session explores the key reforms, including changes to assured (shorthold) tenancies, the abolition of section 21 notices, new grounds for possession, sanctions and fines, and the practical steps needed to ensure compliance. Our private client and family teams will also cover topical property and tax matters for private clients.

If you've dietary requests or need adjustments to attend, please complete our requirements form.
