Reviewing your will and estate planning in light of Inheritance Tax changes

Join us for an informative seminar exploring the recent and forthcoming Inheritance Tax (IHT) changes and what they mean for your estate planning.

The IHT landscape has changed significantly. Changes introduced from April 2026 affect the taxation of agricultural and business property, and from April 2027 most unused pension funds will also become subject to IHT. As a result, many Wills drafted under previous rules may no longer achieve the intended tax or succession outcomes.

Our specialists will explain the key changes and discuss why now may be the right time to review your Will, pension nominations and wider estate planning arrangements to ensure they remain appropriate and tax-efficient. This seminar will be particularly relevant for individuals who:

  • Own farms and/or trading businesses

  • Have significant pension funds

  • Have estates approaching or exceeding the nil-rate band thresholds

  • Have included trust arrangements in their Wills

  • Intend to secure the reduced rate of IHT by giving 10% of their estate to charity

Important: If you've dietary requests or need adjustments to attend this event, please complete our requirements form.
